From Oz’s Point of View. Set up: Emily has been separated from her parents and after a long night of worrying, her emotions and exhaustion catch up to her and it causes Oz to have his first fluttering of emotion for Emily.

WIND BLOWS IN FROM THE NORTH AND A FEW pieces of Emily’s dark hair sweep across her face. One minute Emily’s a bright flame, then a gust snuffs out her light. Her body sways like a top at the tail end of a spin and I lunge forward.

Emily’s knees give out and her eyes roll back into her head. I catch her inches before she crashes onto the porch. She’s light as I swing her into my arms and her head circles onto my shoulder, reminding me of one of those rag dolls Violet used to play with when we were kids.

“Emily!” Eli’s on top of me, attempting to yank her out of my arms. “Open your eyes.”

Her eyelids flutter, but remain closed as her hand limply clutches my shirt. Eli rams his arms underneath mine and he makes Emily a rope in a tug-of-war. I should let her go. I should want to let her go, but then Emily goes and screws it up for me. “Oz.”

It was a damn whisper, but I heard my name on her lips and so did Eli. His eyes flash to mine and Cyrus’s words repeat in my mind. That girl trusts you. And screw us both for that.

“She’s exhausted,” I say. “Hasn’t slept at all tonight.”

Eli’s expression hardens as he glares at me. I’ve seen Eli throw a coma-inducing punch for less defiance and I readjust the sleeping girl in my arms. A reminder if he decks me now, he’ll be putting his daughter at risk.

Temporarily surrendering, Eli cups Emily’s face in his hands and angles her toward him. “Emily, please open your eyes.”

She does. It’s barely a crack and they’re completely glazed.

“Everything’s going to be okay,” Eli affirms.

“I want my mom and dad,” she mumbles.

“You’ll see them tomorrow.” Eli pushes a strand of hair from her cheek. “You’re safe here. I promise.”

She rejects Eli by curling into me. Her head fits perfectly in the crook of my neck and I loathe the wave of protectiveness that rumbles through my body. Emily’s fingers tighten their grip near my shoulders and the impulse is to shield her from the guys gawking at this intimate scene. Yeah, this is club business, but Emily never asked for any of this.

ABOUT THE BOOK
An unforgettable new series from acclaimed author Katie McGarry about taking risks, opening your heart and ending up in a place you never imagined possible

Seventeen-year-old Emily likes her life the way it is: doting parents, good friends, good school in a safe neighborhood. Sure, she’s curious about her biological father—the one who chose life in a motorcycle club, the Reign of Terror, over being a parent—but that doesn’t mean she wants to be a part of his world. But when a reluctant visit turns into an extended summer vacation among relatives she never knew she had, one thing becomes clear: nothing is what it seems. Not the club, not her secret-keeping father and not Oz, a guy with suck-me-in blue eyes who can help her understand them both.

Oz wants one thing: to join the Reign of Terror. They’re the good guys. They protect people. They’re…family. And while Emily—the gorgeous and sheltered daughter of the club’s most respected member—is in town, he’s gonna prove it to her. So when her father asks him to keep her safe from a rival club with a score to settle, Oz knows it’s his shot at his dream. What he doesn’t count on is that Emily just might turn that dream upside down.

No one wants them to be together. But sometimes the right person is the one you least expect, and the road you fear the most is the one that leads you home.

Synopsis

I couldn’t have picked two men more opposing than they. One dark-headed, slightly controlling, but intuitive. The other all unruly copper curls, somewhat bashful, but sensual. Yet, my fall for them felt the same—hard and fast.

I never slept around or cheated, but when you’re the girl who got dumped for being too kinky–you realize and accept you are different. Somehow, some way, they had to be mine. My mind spun with what could be, and I set out to entice them with my fantasy.

Only, my plot had a twist…Royce and Shea were already lovers. Luckily for me, they liked to share.

Warning: Contains a headstrong daughter of nudist, hippy parents, an Alpha with seriously protective instincts, positive representations of Asperger’s Syndrome and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and oh yeah, M/M, M/M/M, M/M/F, and M/F/M.

Excerpt

Excerpt All rights reserved. © 2014 Grey Cole

Champagne always made her giggly and warm and tingly.  Especially tingly. If she’d had a man, you better believe she would be fucked six ways from Sunday right about now. Instead, Luna found herself finishing off a few reports after saying goodnight to the guys. It had been a stellar day. Phase Two—by far the largest coup in their plan—had been firmly achieved. Royce had broken out the champagne, and Luna managed to consume copious amounts before promising the men she would call a cab when she was ready to head out for the night. They were reluctant to leave her behind, but their desire to do a little personal celebrating of their own was palpable. Far be it for her to stand in the way of the double dose of the pure male need and testosterone that engulfed the room.

Since she and Shea had become fast friends, he had divulged more than his share of their passionate tale to her over the last six months, even though she felt sure that he’d kept it toned down for her benefit. Still, she felt like she could read them. When she noticed little things, like the way Royce’s fingertips would curl possessively around Shea’s bicep at the end of even the briefest touch or when Shea’s eyes would suddenly shine brighter while Royce presented the most boring of facts and figures, Luna would glance to the others present in the room to see if they, too, were aware of exactly how sexual … how sensual … their bosses were. But, it seemed she alone picked up on these things. No raised eyebrows. No gossip around the water cooler.

That made her wonder if she was actually picking up on things, or if she was just perving on the gorgeous duo. Her subconscious picked that moment to send X-rated images flitting across her brain, involuntarily making her squeeze her crossed legs tighter. In an effort to halt her mind’s deviant trajectory, she grasped at the water bottle to her right, only to send it spinning across the desk until it toppled over the edge and skittered across the floor to come to a halt by the door.

Deciding she had probably done enough damage for the night, she saved all her documents and logged out of the computer before jotting herself a note. Sticking it to the computer, she laughed out loud at the message. You were drunk and horny last night, double check your files before sending.  A little unsteady, she made her way to the abused water bottle, figuring she should refill it to stay hydrated. She’d call for a cab and head home to finish off the night with some Pinot and some porn. This time she actually giggled out loud. Pinot and porn. God, if only to have the third P present. Oh well, she thought, wiggling her fingers in front of her face, you’ll have to do.

She ended up tiptoeing down the hall, cringing at how dark and still it was when no one was around. Just when she seemed to become accustomed to the difference, she heard them. Moans and groans and curses and near shouts. Luna froze for a moment before understanding hit her with her blunt force. Where her body tingled before—now it sang. Where she’d been warm—she blazed. Her eyes flew to the partially closed door of Royce and Shea’s office, only daring to listen for a moment longer before she turned on her heel and darted back to her own office.

Her water bottle hit the floor with a clang as she slammed the door behind her. Wincing at the loud noise, she waited a moment to see if she would be discovered before rushing over to her desk. Only a security light from the hall cast a dull ray of light into her office. She eased herself into her chair and spun it so that she faced the windows. Luna’s face burned anew as she recalled the frantic words exchanged between Royce and Shea. Even her wicked imagination had not done them justice.

She could make out her own expression in the glass—pupils blown, hair disheveled, clothes askew. Taking a few calming breaths, Luna closed her eyes tightly, but as soon as she did, images of the two men locked in a passionate embrace flooded her brain.

Fuck me, Royce.

Take every inch of me. You like that don’t you? When I pull your hair, you nearly come undone.

Fuck yeah. Please, Royce.

Luna would do anything to have those words lavished upon her, to be able to say those very things to them. So, she pretended they included her. That she was the object of their desire and they were hers. The little app on her iPad filled with the gay porn blogs she’d become addicted to after meeting the men had nothing on the heat those two created within her. She couldn’t have stopped her hands if she’d tried. The things had a mind of their own when they bunched her loosely flowing skirt around her waist and dove into her panties. Her fingers circled her clit for a moment before dipping into the searing wetness. She fingered herself hard for a moment, even throwing her own hand over her mouth to muffle the obscene noises threatening to bubble from her throat.

When her clit throbbed with need, she pushed her thumb to it.

Pressed.

Teased.

Pinched.

Repeated the pattern again and again.

When she felt herself on the verge of coming, Luna shoved both fingers in her vagina again.

Rotated them.

Spread them.

She liked it rough. Fuck, did she like it rough. She held her breath, knowing that would make her orgasm all the more intense. Her head slammed back against the chair. Her hips circled to ride her fingers to the finish.

Then her fingers were replaced by Royce’s. Fuck, but they were thick and demanding.

She needed Shea too. She pinched her lips together so that she could remove her hand. That hand flew down to squeeze one nipple. Hard. It was Shea thumbing the bud and then twisting so hard, asking if she liked that. Yes, Shea. Just like that, Luna moaned.

Royce told her to fuck his hand like she meant it, so she did. He needed to know she meant it. She cried out his name.

She bent and bucked and writhed. Then she came.

Silently.

Harshly.

Harder than she’d ever come before.

Her men smiled at each other. Then at her. Then they kissed, almost chastely, counteracting the wild moment. They kissed her. She tasted them on each other. Royce pressed his fingers into her mouth, and Luna licked them clean before he removed them and sucked her tongue into his mouth.

Luna’s body seemed to melt into the chair. Time was suspended. Her breaths were shallow and hot. Once she opened her eyes, she knew they would disappear, taking their sweet kisses and their panty-combusting commands with them. She almost couldn’t bear it. Right now, their presence was so strong she could almost feel it.

With a deep sigh, she let her fingers fall from her mouth and her breast.  Both hands dropped to the chair with a thud. She giggled again at how deeply sated she was.

Only, her giggle seemed to echo. But it was deeper. Richer. More masculine.

She was drunker than she thought.

Luna’s eyes fluttered open and closed. Open and closed. She finally fixed her stare on the glass where twin gazes of amusement shone back at her. One an intense blue. The other a mesmerizing hazel.

Too late to pretend embarrassment, Luna swallowed her nerves and met their eyes with her own.

“Luna, dear girl,” Royce tsked, “if only we’d known.”

Shea dipped his head and bit Royce’s shoulder. “God, if we’d known,” he groaned.

Luna chose to believe that the champagne made her bold when she brazened, “And if you’d known?”

“That’s simple, darling. We could have celebrated. The three of us. Together,” Royce declared.

Inside, she gasped, even though she hoped she remained steadfast in appearance. But you’re both gay. Why would you want me? Her naïveté won in the end when she whispered, “But how would that even work?”

Royce spun her chair around to face them as they sat perched on her desk. “Any way we want.”

Synopsis

Wild about Weston is the fifth of six books about the last of the Philadelphia-based, wildly-handsome English brothers who are all on the look-out for love.

(Wait a second! They’re definitely NOT all on the look-out for love anymore. Not if Emily, Daisy, Jess and Val have any say in the matter. Weston’s the last single English…oh, yeah. And Kate. Poor Kate…)

When Weston English’s girlfriend breaks up with him to move to Italy on the morning of his brother Fitz’s wedding, he fully expects to have a horrible day. What he doesn’t anticipate is meeting Molly McKenna at the reception.

Daisy’s friend, Molly, whose fiance dumped her the night before the wedding, decides to throw caution to the wind and eschew her schoolteacher persona for a wild, one-night stand with Weston.

From the ceremony to the cocktail hour, from dinner to dancing, from toasts to photos, Molly and Weston will discover that they have more in common than they could have guessed, and that some horrible endings lead to the happiest beginnings.

EXERPT

Molly leaned against the bar, downing her second Chardonnay in fifteen minutes. If she’d known a single soul at the wedding besides Daisy, or if she wasn’t attending by herself, it would have been easier to relax, but as it was, she was barely hanging on.

“Scotch. Double,” said a low, terse voice from beside her. “Wait. Triple.”

Molly shifted only slightly to watch him throw back the lowball glass, before wincing in distaste and sliding it back to the bartender.

“Again. Neat.”

The old Molly—sweet, gullible, trusting, stupid Molly—from yesterday, might have gently laid her hand on his arm and asked him if everything was okay. The dumped, bitter, caustic, on-her-way-to-plastered Molly of today nudged her empty glass forward beside his.

“Another Chardonnay, please?”

“That’s three,” said the bartender, as he filled up Blondie’s lowball glass again.

She hooked her thumb at Blondie. “And he’s on his fourth, fifth, and sixth, but I didn’t notice you counting it out for him.”

“It’s early yet. Maybe pace yourself, honey.”

“If I wanted a lecture, I would’ve called my dad,” she said, shocked to hear the words she was thinking somehow fall out of her mouth.

“Whoa, touchy. Just saying.”

“Well, don’t,” she said softly. “Don’t say. Just pour.”

As she exchanged words with the bartender, Blondie had stopped with his drink halfway to his lips, and was staring at her with his mouth slightly open.

“Hey,” he said, his eyes flicking to her breasts for just a second. “You look almost as miserable as I feel.”

“Imagine how delighted I am to hear that,” she answered, putting her back to the bar and looking past him, as though bored.

If she was honest, however, she wasn’t bored by him. Maybe, just maybe, for no apparent reason that she cared to explore, her tummy might have filled with butterflies when he locked his blue eyes with hers a moment before.

“Wow.” He threw back half the glass of Scotch, then lowered the tumbler to the bar, shifting his body to face her. “Not a big fan of weddings, huh?”

“Not today,” she admitted, grasping the stem of her wineglass after the bartender grudgingly refilled it. The wine was doing its work, making the sharp ache of Dusty’s betrayal recede from the front of her mind.

“Amen,” he agreed.

“Today, weddings suck.”

“Right there with you.”

“Love, love, love…blah, blah, blah. Whatever.”

“Preaching to the choir.”

“To have and to hold…what does that even mean?”

He wrinkled his nose at her. “I think it just means…to have and to hold.”

She smirked. “I guess they didn’t want to confuse anyone when they came up with that witty line.”

His lips quirked up and he brought the glass to his lips again, taking a small sip. “Boy, you’re something.”

“Am I?” she asked, still channeling acidic boredom, although part of her hoped he wouldn’t leave because at least if Blondie was talking to her, she wasn’t completely alone. Plus, he was easy on the eyes, it was taking effort not to look at him, and that effort was distracting her from her general misery.

“You’re really angry.” He leaned a little closer and lowered his voice. “Don’t take this the wrong way, but I sort of dig that today.”

“What do you dig on the other 364 days?”

He laughed softly, shaking his head back and forth. “Why don’t we just worry about today?”

She sighed, taking another big gulp of wine before glancing at him. She shifted her body and fluttered a couple of fingers toward the boutonniere on his lapel.

“Wedding party?”

“Weren’t you at the wedding?”

“Back row corner,” she said. “I guess I wasn’t paying attention.”

Fueled by many fermented grapes, she decided to remedy that now. Without even trying to be subtle, she started at his neck then dropped her eyes, inch by inch, to his broad chest, to his tapered waist, to his hips—with strong bets on a toned, chiseled man-V under his sharply creased trousers—to his legs, and back up again. “Friend or family?”

His eyes burned after her blunt perusal. “Family. What about you?”

“Maybe I’m crashing,” she deadpanned.

As if dumped schoolteacher Molly McKenna would ever do something as wild as crash a wedding.

He grinned, his eyes a touch darker now as he threw back the rest of his Scotch without wincing or gasping. He shoved his glass back toward the bartender, tapping on the rim to indicate he wanted another.

“Really?”

“Crashing,” she whispered with a soft laugh of disbelief.

“I’ve never met a wedding crasher. How did you get in?” he asked, amusement and surprise thick in his voice.

“What?”

“You crashed, right? How did you manage to get in?”

“Oh, I didn’t…”

Wouldn’t that be something? To crash a wedding? To be someone who did something like that? Someone…wild?

Either the wine was making her loopy, or the idea of “being wild” for the first time in her life had taken hold of her like a beagle’s teeth on a bird’s throat. Whatever the reason, it didn’t much matter. She looked into Blondie’s deep blue eyes, which were twinkling with amusement, and made a quick decision. Licking her lips and lowering her voice to a purr as she’d seen in the movies, she beckoned him closer.

“Want me to tell you? Or show you?”

Shocked by her own boldness, Molly didn’t move an inch. She stared at the pulse in his throat, the way it pounded, pushing at the skin forcefully with every throbbing surge of blood. By staring at his heartbeat she could ignore the fierce pounding of her own.

“Are you serious?”

Her breathing had suddenly become shallow and quick. Was she? Was she serious? What exactly was she offering? A kiss? Sex? Christ on a cracker, she’d never had sex with anyone but Dusty. Dusty. Her nostrils flared with fury. Dusty who’d cheated on her with Shana. She exhaled raggedly, licking her lips again, emboldened by her fury.

“Try me,” she whispered.

EXCERPT

Curves. So many curves. Jazz was like a living G-clef made out of flesh and flawless diamond-crushed skin. The ruby red tips of her breasts peeked out from beneath the waves of her white-blonde hair. Thanks to the spill of light from the window, he could see that the same flush bloomed between her legs, beyond enticing. It would be so easy to move forward and take. To just drown himself in her until he couldn’t remember anymore why this was wrong.“Jazz,” Gray breathed, shutting his eyes to block out the torch-light of her beauty in front of him. He couldn’t breathe through his want. Couldn’t think through the haze of his need. And his love.He fucking loved her, and he’d fight not to do this with every fiber of his being. She deserved more than a strung-out bastard who’d turned to pot because he couldn’t get ahold of more coke. For fuck’s sake, even his dealer wouldn’t return his calls.

Now she was here, and he couldn’t get high enough not to feel each of the knives carving him up inside.

“Gray,” she said, equally soft. He didn’t open his eyes but her voice crept closer. “Look at me.”

“No.” The word burst from him on an exhale. “No.”

Her hand touched his bare chest and he jolted as if she’d set off a stick of dynamite. Her chuckle rubbed over his nerve endings, sandpaper and silk, and he struggled to hold back a shudder. Only the steel beam he’d shoved in his spine held him upright.

“Back when I used to get high, it’d lower my inhibitions,” she continued. “It made me excited. I know it’s supposed to relax you, but it had a different effect on me.”

He focused on each of her words on its own, so he couldn’t take them all together and feel their impact. He couldn’t let her do this. The man she was trying to seduce might’ve been worthy of her a year ago. He hadn’t believed it fully then either but he knew without doubt that he wasn’t now.

“As if you ever had inhibitions,” he muttered, unable to summon the strength to raise his voice. All his blood had rerouted to his cock. All his air was fueling his starving cells. He could only not inhale for so long. But if he did, he’d smell her again, watermelon and sugar, and he’d be finished.

“Oh, you’d be surprised. I’ve wanted you for years. And I haven’t done one damn thing to let you know.” She started circling him, her body brushing against his. Hip to thigh, thigh to ass. Her fingers trailed from his chest to his arm to his back, sensual feathers of sensation that made his balls clench so tight he feared any movement would send him over the edge. “But I will tonight.”

He gritted his teeth. “You can’t. You don’t know me anymore. You don’t understand what you’re getting into.”

That made her stop. Her fingers pressed into his lower back as she processed his words.

Please, make them be enough.

She completed her loop around him and hooked her fingers in the front of his jeans. He groaned at the slide of skin on skin. He heard her inhale before the wisps of her breath kissed his mouth. “So show me.”

AUTHOR BIOS

Cari

USA TODAY bestselling author Cari Quinn wrote her first story–a bible parable–in 2nd grade, much to the delight of the nuns at her Catholic school. Once she saw the warm reception that first tale garnered, she was hooked. She attempted her first romance in junior high, long before she’d ever read one. Writing what she knew always took a backseat to what she wanted to know, and that still holds true today. Though she also fires up her computer as a graphic designer, proofreader and editor, she can’t resist the lure of disappearing into a world of her own creation. Now she gets to pen sexy romances for a living and routinely counts her lucky stars. The only thing she loves more than writing is hearing from readers! EXCERPT

“Why is it just standing there?” The memories of her dream creeped up on her. “I’ve seen it before.” It came out in a whisper.

Jace reached for her blanket and laid it across her shivering shoulders.

She pulled it tightly around her, searching for a form of comfort. “In my dreams, Jace, that wolf is in my dreams. I know because of the silver over its eye.” Her eyes went wide and stared up into her brother’s face.

“It can’t be.”

“I know what I saw.” Fire shot through her eyes at the thought of her brother doubting her. “That’s the wolf in my dreams. It’s always there, in every single one. Why?” The long low howl caused her to jump away from the window.

“I don’t know, M&M, I don’t know. Maybe it has something to do with Dad.” His golden-brown eyes looked over at her wall.

The mural had been there for years; it had been studied and memorized by the both of them, especially since their parents died. In the far distance of the forest there was a wolf sleeping. Magnolia had always thought it was sweet that her father had painted animals in the forest, but the wolf was the only one sleeping.

“It is right there. Right there in front of you this entire time. Maybe Dad was trying to tell you something.”

“Tell me what? That I would have awful dreams about a wolf? Jace, that doesn’t…” Her voice trailed off as she walked to the mural and crouched down before it. The wolf in the painting had the same silver mark. “Tell me what, Jace?” Her voice raised.

He sat next to her. “Maybe we need to start going through their things in the attic. Maybe he had a journal or something.”

She knew from the tone of her brother’s voice that there was something else. Something he was not telling her. “Jace, what do you know?”

The muscle in his jaw clenched then relaxed. “When we were younger, Dad used to tell us legends of his people. He loved to tell you about a young girl who was thought to save them from a life of being outcasts, running from place to place. A girl who had a wolf for a guardian. She was supposed to save them all. She was their princess. Though they had no kingdom, they were forced to travel from place to place, searching for a land to call their own. Something happened to her, but I don’t remember what. It was something terrible, and the wolf has been searching for her ever since.”

“The wolf never died?” An eyebrow shot up into the air skeptically.

“It’s a legend, M&M. What do you expect?” He shrugged his shoulders and leaned against the wall. “What if that wolf has really been searching for her all this time?”
