What’s harder than resisting one Dane man? Resisting two.

I don’t date bikers. It’s my one cardinal rule. No rough, rugged, tattooed egotistical maniacs on two wheels. Even if they are gorgeous, brilliant, and sport the prefix Doctor. Bottom line, bikers are nothing but trouble.

Dr. Devlin Dane has had his sights set on my panties for months. But I’ve done a stellar job of fending him off. As Mercy Medical’s most eligible bachelor, he has no problem in the panty dropping department. He’s tall, dark, and inked all over. I get the appeal, I’m not dead. I’m not stupid either. He’s a walking heartbreak waiting to happen.

But when Reese Dane comes crashing into my life – literally- the game suddenly changes.

Reese, the dark, brooding, motorcycle racing champion, knows exactly how to apply the right pressure on and off the track.

The two have an unstoppable pull like centrifugal force, and both bad boy bikers are determined to take me on a high-powered ride I’ll never forget…

naughty mom review

Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars
POV: Multiple / 1st person
Naughty Factor: 5 out of 5

DOUBLE the erotic pleasure….

That’s what you get when you read MOTO. I’ll admit, I zipped through the blurb for this book, so I didn’t pay much attention to what the story was about…I was too distracted by the hottie on the cover, but once I got started I couldn’t stop. I was so jealous of Kayla (I still am) while I read through it. She was one lucky girl. Kayla got to work along a sexy, tattooed doctor that made it very evident he wanted to take her for a ride. And Dev is not just a doctor, he’s a cardiologist AND rides a motorcycle. So not only is he sexy but he’s smart too. Mmmm, brawn and brains.

Then one night, on her way home she comes across a cocky biker doing tricks and showing off causing her to put her nursing skills to work, helping to save his life… only to find out that he’s the identical twin brother to the sexy cardiologist she’s been fantasizing about. Ruh-roh, that means double the trouble for her personal and professional life but double the fun in her fantasies.

From there, we’re placed into Kayla’s shoes as she gets to know Dev and Reese Dane on many levels. They were the best of both worlds. Reese lives in the fast lane as a moto racer and likes to jump right in and enjoy the pleasures to be had in life and in bed. Dev is the controlled and dominating persona with kinks of his own and with his skills takes Kayla to knew heights of pleasure she’s only dreamt of.

But not only does MOTO provide all the panty melting scenes you could want, it also gives an emotional and heart wrenching story line. The complexity of the characters and their relationship dynamic leads to a roller coaster of emotions that had me glued to each page.

MOTO is a definite MUST READ for 2016.
P.S. Keep fresh batteries handy

divider line red excerpt
“I’m not overreacting! You can’t just pass me around to all your biker buddies and think it’s okay! I’m not a fucking wrist watch you can just throw into the pot!”

“Kayla, do you honestly think I would’ve put you up if I knew I couldn’t win? That I would let anyone else touch what belongs to us?” Reese crowds me into a corner.

“Us?” I squeak. Wait, what?

“Yes. Us. Mine and Dev’s.” He enunciates the words. “You. Are. Ours.”

There’s that word again. Ours.

“I don’t understand.”

“Baby, I think you do. I think you’ve always known where we would end up.” Reese cages me in with his arms.

Dev materializes over Reese’s shoulder, and I internally hyperventilate. I don’t know who to look at first as my gaze compulsively darts between the two of them. Two, beautiful, roughneck men, who both look like they want to have me for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

“How . . . how would this even work?” I crazily entertain the idea.

Both their faces split with a fiendish smile. I must have asked the million-dollar question.

Reese leans in closely, stopping my heart. “Let us show you,” he murmurs so seductively my knees nearly buckle. I throw a questioning eye at Dev and he nods confidently.

“You both want this?” I ask with a small voice.

“It isn’t about what we want anymore. It’s all about you now,” Dev voices.

Holy. Fuck.

“Say yes, Kayla.” Dev’s tone is soft and velvety. Irresistible. “Say yes to us.”

I press my back against the wall praying for composure, but the longer they trap me, the more the pressure builds, the more my want fights to the surface, and my resolve falls away into oblivion. I find myself nodding because my ability to speak has become paralyzed.

“Good girl,” Reese breathes before he throws me over his shoulder like a caveman.

“Hey!” I grab onto his shirt.

He swats me on the butt as he makes his way to the stairs. “Ouch!” I flail.

“That’s for bouncing out on me. Never do it again. Got it?” He hits me once more for good measure.

“Fuck you.” I flinch.

“In due time, baby.”

I lift my head as Reese climbs the stairs with Dev hot on his heels.

Reality suddenly strikes. Is this really happening?

“Relax.” Dev traps my chin gently. “We’re going to take care of you. And make you feel so good.” He pushes some dangling hair away from my face so I can see him. He’s incredibly calm despite the carnal look in his eyes.

Once in my small room, Reese drops me on the bed. They each flank one side, making me feel like a trapped animal.

I kneel in the middle of the mattress at a loss at what to do next.

“Strip, baby,” Reese instructs as he unzips his leather jacket and pulls the gun from the back of his pants, placing it on my nightstand.

I stay frozen in place.

I know I’m supposed to move, but what’s clearly about to happen hasn’t sunk in yet.

“Need some assistance?” Dev crawls up behind me and kisses my neck. A switch flips. My eyes immediately roll backward. Yes, please, touch me. Both of you, please touch me.

The familiar chatter fills my ears as soon as I step inside, and I grab a juice. As I wait to pay, I absently scan the tables. Wild hair, wilder clothes, outrageous make-up. Your typical college students.

Except the guy sitting alone at a table in a corner. No wild hair or clothes, and yet he snags my gaze, hooks me and reels me in. I study the familiar close-cropped blond hair, the beautiful profile, the powerful shoulders stretching his gray sweater.

My turn comes to pay for my juice, and instead I drop my purse and spill coins everywhere. Laughter ripples around me. Yeah, your typical college student is also easily amused.

Mortified, I glance in Dylan’s direction, but he seems lost in thought. Thank God. I pay and clutch my juice like a shield in front of me as I make my way toward him. After thinking about Sean, Dylan’s presence makes me feel better. Safe. Warm.

So I approach, taking him in. He’s dressed in well-worn jeans and that old sweater he’s had since high school. He needs no expensive suits. With his broad shoulders and trim body, he’s so hot he’d put any male model to shame.

It strikes me how much he’s grown from the boy he was when we dated. Even from the boy he was a year ago, with the purple bangs. It’s like he’s shed all playfulness, all childishness, as if he had to give it up overnight.

Not sure why, but it makes me sad for him.

“Hey,” I say, and sit across from him.

He starts, pushing back from the table, and I frown as I notice the dark bags under his blue eyes, and how thin his handsome face has become. He hasn’t shaved for at least a couple of days, and his jaw is covered in golden stubble.

“Tess,” he whispers, and my breath catches. He never calls me that nowadays. “What do you want?”

“You didn’t show up in biology class,” I say, before I lose my nerve. “And I haven’t talked to you in a while. Is everything okay?”

“Fine,” he mutters.

“You’ve missed many classes already.”

“I never enrolled in that class. Or any class.”

“You never…” My brain stalls. “Then why did you show up on the first day?”

“Because I hoped I could do this,” he snaps, and it’s my turn to flinch. “I’m not enrolled in college. Not anymore.”

“That’s a pity,” I whisper. My chest aches.

He gets up. “Look, I’ve got to go.”

“Yeah.” I nod, finally accepting what Audrey has been telling me all along. “Take care, Dylan.”

His eyes narrow. “You too. What’s this about?”

“This is about me,” I say and unscrew the lid off my juice with shaky hands.

“What do you mean?” His face is pale, the silver ring in his lip glinting dully in the fluorescent lights of the cafeteria.

I force myself to look away. “I mean,” I say softly, “this is goodbye.”

Reading Dylan, for me, was like a cool glass on a very warm day. It was breathtaking to read a story where the hero wasn’t the constant savior, for once. The heroine gains strength on her own and millions of dollars aren’t thrown around on lavish adventures.

Instead we have a story about a young guy who’s had to put his life and dreams on hold to take care of his younger brothers. On the constant go from work and caring for them, he’s tired and struggling to make ends meet; but determined to do what it takes to make sure they’re cared for.

Before his life took such a drastic turn, he was a young boy in love with a girl. She too had only him in her heart but was crushed when he stepped away to take care of his family. Never once looking back.

Our heroine, Tessa, is from a wealthy family where appearances are everything and love, as well as support, are non existent. She’s spent years wishing for Dylan to look her way again and worked hard for her parents approval that just never happened.

After years of people pleasing and trying to be the person her father demanded she be, she finally realizes that approval will never come. After that realization, her life becomes so much clearer. She begins to fight for what she wants and gains strength in her independence. Though it was wonderful to have Dylan’s protective arms around her, she ends up doing her own saving. She finds her strength and opens up a world of happiness for herself.

Dylan may not have been the ultimate savior, but he was the ultimate dream guy. Sure millionaires that come sweep us off our feet are a wonderful fantasy but it’s a scenario not likely to happen. Instead we get a regular hottie covered in tattoos who proves time and again he’ll do anything for his family. I would take that over anything any day.

The characters were realistic, lovable and I fell in love with them both.

Jo Raven not only gives us a story of young love, but she gave us a story about inner strength and struggle that can be relatable for any reader.
