ABOUT THE BOOK
Two weeks before her wedding, Remi Montague’s fiancé drops her faster than a drunken sorority girl in stilettos. Armed with her best friend and a bottle of tequila, she hops a plane to London to drown her sorrows before fall semester begins at Whitman University.

She didn’t plan on attending a masquerade party.

She sure didn’t plan on waking up next to the British bad boy who broke her heart three years ago—the devastatingly handsome and naked Dax Blay. Furthermore, she has no clue how they acquired matching tattoos.

Once back at Whitman together, they endeavor to pretend they never had their night of unbridled passion in London.

But that’s damn hard to do when you live in the same house…

One night. Two damaged hearts. The passion of a lifetime.

Declan and Dax may be twins… but my love for them is NOT equal. I have to say, Dax is my favorite and I’m super jealous of Remi right now.

Who doesn’t love the epic story of Romeo and Juliet? It has always been a fave of mine and Ilsa Madden-Mills delivers a totally new and completely fresh take on such a historic romance. I’ve read my fair share of modern fairty tales and this one is up there in my favorites list.

When I met Dax in Dirty English, I saw him like everyone else did. The player that made his rounds the campus and enjoyed the advantages his sex appeal provided. Girls can’t resist a sexy guy with a British accent. I know I can’t. But while reading his story in Filthy English, I saw so much more to Dax Blay and I fell so much deeper in love with him than I did with badass, sexy MMA fighter, Declan. There was so much depth to his emotional cavern that I felt my heart hurt when his hurt. He had so many feelings buried so deep within and keeping his distance from real emotional connection was his only way to deal.

Remi had a similar coping mechanism for dealing with her past loss and together they were quite a mess. But they were such a BEAUTIFUL mess; which made Filthy English practically poetic.

Funny and emotional, this book had everything I could have wanted in a great read.

ABOUT THE BOOK
A blueprint for desire …

With a shared passion for breathing life into an unconventional dream home, the attraction between a struggling new grad of interior design and an award-winning architect with eclectic sexual tastes is irresistible. But with a cloud of lies and loss hanging over him, the only arrangement Logan wants is one of indulgence and pleasure. However, fate seems to have another design plan in mind for them—a plan that ultimately leads them down a path of desire and discovery.

When the man obsessed with creating his unusual home sets his sights on the woman who keeps unknowingly navigating her way back to him, lust clouds his judgment and he makes an inappropriate proposition. After nearly blowing his chances with the talented and alluring beauty, he readjusts his plans, because it just so happens that his sexy ulterior motives go hand-in-hand with her expertise in interior design.

Though Chloe may be young and naïve in Logan’s eyes, she sees him for who and what he is: a man with severe commitment issues. But she’s optimistic—maybe too optimistic. And she isn’t easily deterred or scared away either, not even by the unusual nature of his design plans or his eclectic sexual tastes. In fact, she’s intrigued by them. Faced with a man who can give her not only the experience she needs to propel her career, but everything she’s ever fantasized about, she hopes that their physical and intellectual compatibility can prevail over his fears. And more importantly, that they can move forward to become not only design collaborators, but partners on a deeper level.

“Make yourself come.”

The look on Logan’s face was new, different, and the urgency in his voice more demanding. The three words Logan had spoken with casual ease sent a shock wave of embarrassment and riot of emotions through her. Sitting idly and uneasily with her knees pulled up and her hands resting on her stomach, blood rushed to her cheeks.

She had never done that in front of anyone. Not to completion, anyway. She recalled a few years earlier overhearing a classmate tell about how she and her boyfriend had played with themselves in front of each other. The mortification it had elicited within her was something she remembered well, and a self-conscious giggle floated up from her throat at the thought of someone watching her, most especially the man whose opinion meant everything to her.

Chloe hesitated for only a moment when Logan stood upright and glared down at her.

A gust of wind whipped against the window and momentarily drowned out the man’s voice singing about Control. She opened her mouth and when the words I can’t slipped past them, Logan pushed her knees apart and kneeled between them to silence her with a finger pressed to her lips.

“She can’t,” he whispered with a light shake of his head. His tone was nondescript, and there wasn’t a hint of contemptuousness or sarcasm in his next statement. “Haven’t you figured out yet what makes this thing between us work? What will continue to make it work? Or, should I draw you a schematic or sketch you a diagram?”

Bewildered and taken aback by Logan’s questions and the intensity of his gaze, she awkwardly stretched out on the chair without saying anything. When he stood, gripped his shaft and commented offhandedly in a tone as if he was speaking to a child—see, this is how you do it—while slowly stroking himself into a full-blown erection, her face heated with humiliation again.

UDteaser1

A moment later, he spoke more purposefully. “I enjoy being with you, but my demands aren’t up for negotiation, so I need you to listen carefully.” Stroke. “When we’re together …” stroke, “… you do as you’re told.” Stroke. “As. You’re. Told,” he repeated with calm tenacity.

Doing as she was told was a nice idea in theory, but Chloe had serious doubts as to its practical application. During sex, sure—no problem. She liked Logan being in control of her pleasure. But in real life? She wasn’t the kind of woman to lie down, so to speak, for any one. Logan was pushing her too hard and too fast in his attempt to try and prove something, but what he was trying to prove was beyond her comprehension. At any rate, her mind was too clouded with excitement to attempt to figure it out.

As she lay tensely waiting for his next move, she made the mistake of meeting his eyes. The burn of heat in their shadowed depths urged her forward and it was as if she was watching herself from above when her hand slid down her belly and between her legs. Fingers glided over her labia and a digit swirled around her clit before dipping inside, she watched as one side of Logan’s mouth tipped into a sated grin.

SYNOPSIS

Just call me Mister O. Because YOUR pleasure is my super power.

Making a woman feel ‘oh-god-that’s-good’ is the name of the game, and if a man can’t get the job done, he should get the hell out of the bedroom. I’m talking toe-curling, mind-blowing, sheet-grabbing ecstasy. Like I provide every time.

I suppose that makes me a superhero of pleasure, and my mission is to always deliver.

But then I’m thrown for a loop when a certain woman asks me to teach her everything about how to win a man. The only problem? She’s my best friend’s sister, but she’s far too tempting to resist–especially when I learn that sweet, sexy Harper has a dirty mind too and wants to put it to good use. What could possibly go wrong as I give the woman I’ve secretly wanted some no-strings-attached lessons in seduction?

No one will know, even if we send a few dirty sexts. Okay, a few hundred. Or if the zipper on her dress gets stuck. Not on that! Or if she gives me those f*&k-me-eyes on the train in front of her whole family.

The trouble is the more nights I spend with her in bed, the more days I want to spend with her out of bed. And for the first time ever, I’m not only thinking about how to make a woman cry out in pleasure –I’m thinking about how to keep her in my arms for a long time to come.

Looks like the real Adventures of Mister Orgasm have only just begun….

**MISTER O is a standalone romantic comedy and it follows supporting characters first introduced in BIG ROCK**

LYINGDOWNWQUOTEnaughty excerpt PROLOGUE

Ask me my three favorite things and the answers are so easy they roll off my tongue. Hitting a homerun for my softball league, drawing a killer cartoon panel, and, oh yeah, making a woman come so hard she sees stars.
Not gonna lie. That last one is my favorite, by about a mile. Giving a woman a sheet-grabbing, toe-curling, mind-blowing orgasm is pretty much the Best Thing Ever.
A woman’s climax is like summer break, Christmas morning, and a vacation in Fiji all rolled together in one fantastic package of window-shattering bliss.
Hell, if we could harness the beauty and energy from women coming, we could probably power cities, solve global warming, fix every problem known to man. The female orgasm is basically the manifestation of everything good in the world.
Especially when I deliver them, and I’ve given thousands upon thousands. I’m like a superhero of pleasure, a good-deed doer, the once-upon-a-geek-now-a-stud, and my mission is to dispense as many climaxes to my lovers as possible.
How have I managed to achieve this amazing feat? Simple. I’m both a student and a master of the art of giving Os. I consider myself an expert because — in the interest of full disclosure here — I’m completely, 100% obsessed with a woman’s enjoyment between the sheets. Getting her off is the name of the game, and if you can’t get that job done, you should get the hell out of the bedroom.
But, hey, I’m also humble enough to admit I’m still a learner.
Since there is always something new to discover with a woman.
Does she want it soft, hard, fast, light, rough? Does she like it with teeth, toys, my cock, my tongue, my fingers? Would she want a little something extra, like a feather, a vibrator, or some sort of fantastic combination of all of the above? Every woman is different and every path to her pleasure is its own erotic journey with so many fantastic stops to make along the way.
I take mental notes, study her cues, and always get out and do the field work.
I suppose that makes me the Magellan of the female orgasm. A true explorer, venturing forth, fearless and ready at any moment, to map the terrain of her pleasure until she cries out in rapture.
Fine, some might say I have an addiction.
But really, is it a bad thing that I love to make the woman I’m with feel good? If that makes me a guy with a one-track mind, then I’m guilty as fucking charged. I’ll freely admit that when I meet a woman I’m into, I’m picturing in seconds what she looks like coming, how she sounds, how I want to send her soaring.
The trouble is, there’s one woman I just can’t go there with, even though lately my brain desperately wants to figure out how to drive her wild. It’s been an epic battle, and I’ve had to keep her in a special drawer, locked, sealed and key thrown away because she is the definition of hands off.
Which sucks royally because she’s about to make things even harder with the words that come out of her mouth.

Until June teaser 2excerpt blue Prologue
Looking at my reflection in the mirror across from me, I cringe. My hair is a disaster, there are bags under my eyes, and the nightgown I have on isn’t even one of the cute ones I normally wear. It’s the one my sister, December, got me as a joke, but I wear it occasionally, because its comfortable, even if it was made for a woman three times my age. Resting my elbows on the desk in front of me, I run my fingers through my hair, pulling the strands back away from my face.

“I hate men,” I whisper into the empty interrogation room, where I was told to wait over an hour ago after the police kicked in my door and dragged me from my bed. Lifting my gaze, I look at myself in the mirror again and vow that whenever I get out of the mess my ex-boyfriend has gotten me into, I’m going to learn how to be a lesbian, even if I’m not sure that’s actually possible.

“June Mayson.” Turning my head, I look over my shoulder at the now open door behind me, and my eyes meet those of a man who reminds me of my dad. He looks to be in his mid-forties, and is one of those men time has been kind to. He’s built, with dark hair that’s cut short and parted on the side. His eyes are a blue that stands out against his dark lashes and tan skin. “I’m Officer Mitchell, and this is Officer Plymouth.” He nods behind him and is followed in by a man who must be playing the roll off ‘Bad Cop’, judging by the frown on his face and the look he gives me when our eyes meet. Time hasn’t been as kind to him; he looks like he has enjoyed one too many beers. His middle is soft, and his skin doesn’t look healthy.

Nodding, I cross my arms over my chest and run my hands down the bare skin of my biceps that’s chilled from the cool air coming from the vent above me.

“Would you like something to drink?” Officer Mitchell asks as he walks fully into the room.

Shaking my head, I mutter, “No, thank you.”

“Hot chocolate?” he offers, and I feel tears burn the back of my eyes. Since I was little, whenever I was having a bad day, my dad would offer me hot chocolate. His hot chocolate has magical powers that always make everything seem okay, but I doubt police station hot chocolate would have the same effect.

“No, thanks. I’d just like to know why I’m here,” I tell him as he takes a seat in the metal chair across from me and places a thick folder on the table between us.

“We may be here awhile, Miss Mayson, so I’d like you to be comfortable,” he says gently, and I look at Officer Plymouth, who is leaning against the wall, then back to him.

“I don’t mean to be rude, Mr. Mitchell, but I’d really like to get to the point. I have class in a few hours and I’d really like to make it on time.”

“I’m afraid you’re probably going to miss your class today, Miss Mayson.”

Closing my eyes, I open them slowly and ask, “Can I get a sweater?”

Surprisingly, Officer Plymouth slips off his suit jacket and walks it over to me, placing it around my shoulders.

‘Thank you,” I whisper up at him, and his eyes soften around the edges. Pulling my eyes from him, my gaze goes back toward Officer Mitchell.

“How long have you known Lane Diago?” Officer Mitchell asks, and I sit up a little taller.

“I don’t know anyone by that name,” I tell him, and he opens the file folder, fanning out a few pictures of my ex-boyfriend, Aaron, and me directly in front of me. Each of them were taken while we were a couple, showing we had been followed more than a few times. Him coming to my apartment…him kissing me outside my car…at the store, walking hand-in-hand down the aisles…at the movies…out to dinner…both of us doing normal couple things.

“You mean Aaron?”

“That what he told you his name was?” he asks, and I nod looking up at him.

“I’ve known him for about a year,” I whisper, dropping my eyes to the pictures again, realizing I actually didn’t know him, since his name isn’t even Aaron.

“How long have you two been dating?” he inquires, and my eyes drop to the pictures once more.

“We dated for about four months. I broke up with him a month ago,” I tell him truthfully as a feeling of sadness hits me unexpectedly. I wasn’t in love with Aaron—or Lane. Not even close. But I cared about him, and believed he cared about me as well. That was, until he sent me a text to meet him at his house. When I got there, one of his roommates let me in, and I found him up in his room with Susie Detrei’s mouth around his cock, proving I was wrong about him.

“You were close,” Officer Mitchell states, and I nod because we were, or I thought we were. “Can you tell me who this man is?” he asks, pulling out a picture of Aaron’s—Lane’s cousin, or at least the guy he told me was his cousin.

“Aaron…I mean Lane’s cousin Cody. He lives in Mississippi,” I tell him.

“Did you ever overhear them talking?”

“Overhear them talking?” I ask, looking at a picture of Cody and Lane sitting in what looks like a bar, Lane with his favorite beer in his hand, and Cody with a short, wide glass with dark liquid and ice on the bar top in front of him, and his hand wrapped around it while he laughs at something.

“Overhear them talking about anything out of the ordinary?”

“No.”

“Are you sure about that?”

“Maybe if you told me exactly why I’m here, I can give you the information you’re looking for.”

“Lane Diago’s uncle is one of the biggest distributors of illegal narcotics in Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, and South Carolina.”

“What?” I whisper as my eyes focus on one of the pictures of Lane and me standing outside my apartment. I was wearing a short colorful summer dress and gold strappy sandals, and Lane had on a pair of black cargo shorts and a plain white tee. His head was bent toward mine, my hand was resting against his chest, and his was wrapped tight around my hip. It was our third date and our first kiss. I had waited forever to even go on a date with him, because I wasn’t ready for a relationship. I finally gave in to him, because he was so persistent. He asked me out every time we saw each other, and he was always dramatic in the way he did it.

“Did you ever see—”

“I never saw anything,” I cut him off. “Lane didn’t even smoke pot, and almost everyone I know smokes pot,” I whisper, pulling my eyes from the picture to look at him.

“You two were together a lot. He would have you drop him places. My men saw you on more than one occasion.”

“To friends’ houses,” I tell him, suddenly finding it hard to breathe. “If he asked me to drop him to a friend’s or to run him somewhere when we were going out, I would do it, but I never saw him do anything illegal.”

“Do you understand you can go to prison if we find out you spent any of the money he earned from selling drugs on things for yourself.”

Laughing, I cover my face with my hands and lay my head on the table while I try to pull myself together. I probably shouldn’t be laughing right now but its either laugh or cry.

“What do you find funny about this?” Officer Plymouth asks, and I lift my head to look at him.

“I paid for us to do things more than once, and he even asked me for gas money a couple of times. I never, not once, took money from him, not even for a coffee,” I tell him, and his eyes go to Officer Mitchell, who mutters, “Fuck.”

“He cheated on me a month ago, and I haven’t talked to him since then,” I tell him, and he shakes his head.

“We have time stamps for phone calls between the two of you over the last month.”

“Did you ever look at how long those calls lasted?” I ask, knowing that if he did, he would know we didn’t actually talk. “He called. He called over and over.

Finally, I had to pick up to tell him to stop calling me. I didn’t want anything to do with him a month ago, and I sure as hell don’t want anything to do with him now.”

“Another fucking road block,” Officer Plymouth grumbles, and my head swings to him.

“I’m sorry. I swear that if I knew anything, I would help you out, but I don’t. Lane never told me anything, and I sure as hell didn’t see anything. If I had, I would have talked to my uncle about it.”

“You’re sure you didn’t see anything, hear anything?”

“I’m sure,” I tell him, wishing I did know something, not because I’m a rat, but because I know what drugs can do to people. I know not everyone dies from using drugs, not everyone’s life goes to shit from using them, but my best roommate freshmen year of college overdosed and died, and that was only after she turned into a completely different person. Someone I didn’t like much. Someone I couldn’t trust. So, there’s no way I would ever protect anyone who is responsible for supplying those drugs, no matter how much I care about them.

“Would you be willing to get back in with Lane?” Officer Plymouth asks, bringing my attention to him. My heart flips in my chest at the thought, but I don’t get a chance to answer, because someone bangs hard on the glass mirror in front of me, causing my image to go funny.

“Lexy? Sweetheart? Please, we…okay, you need to get your shit together. Now.”
But I can’t, and I can’t understand why he doesn’t understand that.
“No,” I say, fighting to turn away from him as I feel my bare ass being slid onto the cold bathroom marble counter top. “Stop. Okay?” I continue my demands, trying to shove at his chest, only to grip the material of his suit and tug instead. “STOP! Just stop.” I squeeze my eyes shut and shove the words out as fast as I can, “You obviously have no fucking idea how incredibly fucked you just fucked my life up, so just stop. Get your hands off of me, or I swear to god, I’ll fucking scream.” I finally shove him back and attempt to struggle against him.
mf teaser 2
But before I can make any progress against him and the wall that he is and get myself down off the counter top, I feel the back of my skull connecting with the vanity mirror behind me, and a swift second later I feel his palm setting fire to the outside of my right hip when it connects.
Did he just fucking slap me?
His right hand slides up between the valley of my breasts, and his fingertips grip then dig into my cheeks at my chin. His firm, rough manner with me causes my eyes to fly open and I glare, boring them into his brown ones.
And what I see, almost…it almost makes me hesitate.
His eyes are the most honest eyes…but I refuse to look too closely at that thought right now. I grit my teeth and flex my jaw against his clenching fingers before squaring my shoulders and keeping my eyes glued to his, and I speak in the most intimidating voice I possess, “Get. Your. Fucking. Hands—“
SMACK.
12688226_1705833462987782_2771976542934348235_n (1) His left palm cracking against the tender flesh of my already slapped side-ass cuts off my words, and my mouth— despite his grip on my chin— falls open.
“Let me make myself fucking clear, Mrs. Dean. When I informed you of my past and the cell I spent it in, I must’ve somehow been preempting the fact to you that I…don’t give a single fuck. I have nothing.” His mouth is a breath away from mine and when the word ‘nothing’ leaves his warm lips, they sweep against my swollen ones. “Fucking nothing, left to lose in this life. And I for goddamn sure won’t be going back to prison, so when I finish getting the retribution I’ve been due, and I go down in a fucking blaze of glory, who I take with me matters none. Now…” He’s there. Hell, he’s everywhere. Then, all of a sudden he’s not. He’s gone.
I sway forward and have to catch myself from falling, but a split second later, he’s back and wrapping a large, soft bathrobe around me and tying the sash. “Whoa, easy does it.” As he helps me down off the counter, his eyes smile along with the smirk across his beautiful face, and I can’t help my heart from fluttering. I can’t.
mf teasesr“I was left in the front sitting room when your husband’s mistress called and he needed to step out, so if I’m in here when he comes back…it isn’t going to look good. No Bueno. Now, I need you to get dressed—or whatever. And when you step out, act as though we’ve never met. The only reason I came in here to introduce myself is because I hate your fucking husband—and I hope now that you’ve been armed with the knowledge of his indiscretions, that I could call you friend and offer my sincerest regrets. Mrs. Dean, my current circumstances put me at a bit of a disadvantage where trust is concerned. And when you need something…you build it. Can I count on you?”
His eyes never waver. They never flicker to the side or even blink. They stay glued to mine, and for the first time in my entire life I don’t have to think before I answer, I just speak.
“Yes.”

It’s time for the Kingston triplets to be born.

I’ve heard stories of how women have their water break or go into labor in their home. That’s not how it happened with Lucy and our babies. As long as Lucy and the babies are okay, I’ll be okay–even if we are surrounded by the Russo Famiglia.

But nothing has been normal for us from the day we met. So why would it start now?

excerpt (2)

“Jesus Christ, Sawyer! Why is your dick out?” I screech louder than I mean to, but not a complete overreaction, seeing as how Sawyer’s semi is out and looming over Bennett like a heat-seeking missile. You know, because we didn’t already have enough going on.

“What the fuck?” Dane too asks him, head turned away from Sawyer’s junk on display.

“Dude, you gotta pee on a jellyfish sting. Everybody just stand back, I got this. I piss excellence.” Sawyer takes his chub in one hand, widens his stance and is all but urinating on Bennett when Evan has the good sense to step in.

“I’m sure you do, but put your cock away, Dr. Dumbass. It’s not a jellyfish sting. See those little quills sticking out of her foot?” Evan points. “She stepped on a Sea Urchin. No amount of your excellent piss will help. But thanks for scaring off the crowd, gives us more room to work.”

I wanted to jump.

He made me fall.

As a celebrity, I lived in the public eye, but somewhere along the way, I’d lost myself in the spotlight.

Until he found me.

Sam Rivers was a gorgeous, tattooed stranger who saved my life with nothing more than a simple conversation.

But we were both standing on that bridge for a reason the night we met. The secrets of our pasts brought us together—and then tore us apart.

Could we find a reason to hold on as life constantly pulled us down?

Or maybe there’s only one direction to go when two people fall in love at rock bottom—up.

excerpt (2)

the fall up teaser use 1“Thank fuck!” Sam said, swinging the door open before Devon even had the car in park.

“Oh, this isn’t my place. We’re just dropping Devon off. I’m about twenty minutes across town?”  I tossed him a sugary smile then boldly shifted my hand into his lap, purposely brushing the bulge under his denim.

Grabbing my wrist, he narrowed his eyes and called out, “Devon, I’m gonna need to borrow a bedroom.”

I burst out laughing as Devon cursed loudly.

“Fine. This is my place. No smoking inside though,” I snipped as I climbed from the SUV.

“You better have some seriously exciting extracurricular activities to keep me distracted, then.”

“I have Ping-Pong!”

“Not exactly what I was thinking.” He mischievously cocked his head. “But I guess paddles and balls are as good a start as any.” Dipping down, he hoisted me over his shoulder. “Point me to the Ping-Pong table, my lady.”

I didn’t. I laughed hysterically as he carried me inside. Then I directed him to my bedroom instead.

I heard Devon locking up the house as Sam deposited me on the bed.

“Jesus. This view.”  He pushed the curtains back. “Why the hell would you ever go up to the bridge when you have this here?”

“I don’t know,” I answered, pulling my earrings off and placing them on my nightstand.

Oh, but I knew. It might not have been what had originally sent me up that bridge, but it was why my feet carried me back every night. And that very reason was currently standing in front of me with entirely too much clothing on.

“You want a beer?” I asked, sliding my shoes off.

“Nah, I’m good.” He faced me, and I could tell something was off with his demeanor. He didn’t inch any closer. Instead, his lips were tight and his eyes uncomfortably flashed around the room.

It suddenly didn’t feel like Sam standing in front of me at all.

He felt like a stranger who had just come face-to-face with Levee Williams.

Damn it.

“Why are you looking at me like that? Are you about to freak out?” I whispered, nervously moistening my lips.

He shoved his hands into his pockets. “I’m not really sure yet. But I’m gonna need you to stop licking your lips long enough for me to figure it out.” His mouth cracked into a wide grin, and my shoulders relaxed.

Now that was a flash of my Sam.

“Want to tell me what’s going on?” I asked.

“It’s just… I think this is the first time I’ve realized that you’re some big-time celebrity. I might be in over my head here, Designer Shoes.”

“I just make music, Sam.” I returned his smile and very slowly prowled in his direction. “Imagine how I feel though. You’re Samuel Nathan Rivers. A tough, tattooed furniture designer who makes six figures a year but is too afraid to tell his mommy he votes democratic.” I giggled as he frowned humorously. Stopping in front of him, I dragged a fingernail down his chest then teased the waistband of his jeans. “Have you considered that maybe I’m the one who’s in over her head here?” I leaned forward to nip at his lips, but he spun us around.

“Excellent point. I’m going to need you to try really hard to keep it together, Levee. You haven’t even seen my six-pack and huge cock, yet.” He smirked and attempted to return my nip, but I stepped out of his reach.

“You brought beer and chicken?” I feigned excitement.

That one corny joke was all it took to bring my Sam back completely.

With a sexy smile and a coy shrug, he seductively backed me toward the bed. “What can I say? I like to be prepared.”

“Clearly,” I breathed.

the fall up teaser 2 use

He moved in close so his lips were only a centimeter away, but for as much as I wanted him, it was agonizing. “Clearly,” he repeated, his smoky yet sweet breath breezing across my mouth.

His strong arm looped around my waist, tugging me against his chest, while I stared into his hooded eyes, eagerly waiting for him to make a move.

Any move.

Every move.

synopsis (2)

Kit Devigny could have loved rock guitarist Noah St. John. Their friendship burned with the promise of intense passion and searing tenderness…until the night Noah deliberately shattered her heart.

Noah knows he destroyed something precious the night he chose to betray Kit, but he’d rather she hate him than learn his darkest secret. All he has left is his music. It’s his saving grace, but it doesn’t silence the voices that keep him up at night. Chasing oblivion through endless one-night-stands, he earns a few hours’ sleep and his bad boy reputation.

When a media error sees Noah and Kit dubbed the new “it” couple, Kit discovers her chance at the role of a lifetime hinges on riding the media wave. Wanting—needing—to give Kit this, even if he can’t give her everything, Noah agrees to play the adoring boyfriend. Only the illusion is suddenly too real, too painful, too beautiful…and it may be too late for the redemption of Noah St. John.

ROCK REDEMPTION TEASER 2

Kit groaned at the sound of her phone. Reaching out blindly toward the nightstand, she hurled mental curses upon herself for forgetting to turn it off so she could catch some uninterrupted sleep before her four-a.m. makeup call.

It’d be fun and great for her career, her agent had said when recommending Kit take the superhero flick. Coming off two serious and emotionally wrenching projects, Kit had taken Harper’s advice and jumped on board the high-budget, high-octane venture. Unfortunately, Harper had forgotten to mention the four hours it would take to put her into the head-to-toe makeup required for the role. Daily.

“What?” she snarled into the phone without checking to see who it was.

“Hey, Katie.”

Every cell in her body snapped wide awake. Lifting her eyelids, she just stared at the ceiling through gritty eyes. Her heart thumped, her throat moving convulsively as she swallowed. She hated that he could still do this to her, hated it, but her visceral response to Noah wasn’t something she could stop. She knew because she’d tried for the past two years and three months.

“Noah,” she said flatly. “Do you know what time it is?”

“Two fifteen,” he answered.

Kit should’ve hung up. God, he’d hurt her. So much. But there was something in his voice that had her sitting up. “Are you drunk?” One thing she knew about Noah: no matter his bad-boy rep, he was never wasted. He might give a good indication of it, but look closely and those dark gray eyes were always sober.

“Probably.” A silence, followed by, “I just wanted to hear your voice. Sorry for waking you.”

ROCK REDEMPTION TEASER 1

“Wait,” she said when he would’ve hung up. “Where are you?”

“Some dive.” He took a deep breath, released it in a harsh exhale. “I’m sorry for being an asshole. I wanted to tell you that. I don’t want to go without saying that.”

“Noah,” she said, a horrible feeling in her stomach. “Where exactly are you?”

“The Blue Flamingo Inn off Hollywood Boulevard. Far, far, far off.” He laughed, and it held no humor. “It has a neon sign of a blue—surprise!—flamingo that’s flashing right through my window. Looks like someone stole the curtains.”

Having already grabbed her laptop, which she’d left beside the bed after answering some e-mails before sleep claimed her, she found the Blue Flamingo Inn. But Noah was already gone, having said, “I love your voice, Kit,” in an oddly raw tone before hanging up.

He didn’t pick up when she called back.

“Damn it! Damn it!” She shoved aside the blanket under which she’d been buried, having turned the AC to ice-cold as she usually did at night. Shivering, she tugged on a pair of jeans and an old sweatshirt over the panties and tank top in which she’d gone to sleep.

Pulling her black hair into a rough ponytail to keep it out of her eyes, she ran through the house, phone in one pocket, credit card and driver’s license in the other. In the kitchen, she grabbed her keys off the counter and shoved her feet into the tennis shoes by the door that led to the garage.

She was in her car and on the way to the motel three minutes after Noah had hung up, mouth dry and an ugliness in her gut. “Please be okay, please be okay, please be okay,” she kept saying, the mantra doing nothing to calm her down, but at least it kept her mind focused.

She wanted to call Molly and Fox, or the others in the band, but no one was currently in the city. Schoolboy Choir had completed the final show in the band’s hugely successful tour just over two weeks earlier. Day after that, they’d all gone their separate ways to recharge and regroup.

“Much as I love these guys,” David had said with a grin that reached the dark gold of his eyes, “I’ve been looking at their ugly mugs daily for months. We need to go blow off some steam separately before we start snarling at each other.”

At the time, Kit had nodded in understanding, having had that same experience while working on location for long periods. Tonight, however, she wished the others were all here, not scattered across the country, because something was very wrong with Noah.

“Noah doesn’t do drugs,” she told herself as she drove as fast as she dared, not wanting to risk getting pulled over and further delayed. “He isn’t the kind to—” She couldn’t say it, couldn’t even think of Noah ending his life. “No,” she said firmly, her hands white-knuckled on the steering wheel. “Noah isn’t like that.”

I just knew that Leyton’s story was going to be sexy, spicy and filled with everything that makes an entertaining and unforgettable read.  Nicole Edwards did NOT disappoint.

In Beautifully Loyal, we meet Leyton and get a glimpse of the life he came from before he joined the Adorite family and the Southern Boy Mafia.  Abandoned by his mother and abused by his father, his friendship with Max Adorite took him on a path where he finds a life he wouldn’t change and a family he would do anything for.

Ashlynn Adorite is sister to Max Adorite and has grown up in the life of the mafia.  She knows what it means to do whatever it takes for what you want and to protect yourself.  She’s tough and sexy and lives with a ‘take no prisoners’ attitude.  Being female, she’s often underestimated and uses that to her advantage.

For years, they’ve harbored feelings for each other but never acted on them; which leads to so much angst between them throughout the book.  The catalyst for them is Jase… Ashlynn’s head of security and regular boy toy.  His desires spark the flame that changes their lives.

Meanwhile, the mafia life gets in the way and Ashlynn is in danger.  This amps up the suspense element in the novel which kept me on my toes.  It was similar to a tennis match.  To left is danger and to the right is smokin’ hot sex and vice versa.  The steam level was top notch and worthy of a couple panty changes (so be sure to keep spare panties handy).  The M/M, M/F, M/F/M, M/M/F scenes were WORTH. THE. WAIT!!  Each providing all the passion and emotion that I could have asked for.

I’m curious as to who’s story is next in the series and can’t wait to find out!!

excerpt (2)

(Not Safe For Work due to the jaw dropping heat level!)

 * Contains explicit language

Ashlynn turned to see Jase sauntering down the hall toward her, his thigh muscles bunching with every step. She loved the way those faded jeans hugged him in all the right places, accentuating his muscular thighs, fantastic ass, not to mention the giant bulge he sported between his legs. The man had caught her attention from the very first day he’d stepped into her house five years ago, looking for a job. He was mouth-wateringly good-looking, and that voice of his… His words alone made her insides quiver with need.

She was ready for some action of her own, and Jase was just the man to provide that for her.

When Jase’s six-foot-two-inch, extremely powerful frame pressed her up against the wall, Ashlynn clutched his broad shoulders as she peered up into those sexy, crystal-blue eyes. His blond hair was cut short but not so short that she couldn’t slide her fingers through it and pull him down to her.

Jase nuzzled her neck as he slid his big, warm hand beneath her skirt, easing inside her panties and pressing his finger against her clit.

“Is this what you’ve been waiting for?” Jase’s tongue caressed the sensitive skin beneath her ear.

Closing her eyes and enjoying the tingle that ignited in her core, Ashlynn nodded her head.

“You’re wet for me,” he whispered against her ear. “So fucking wet.”

“Yes,” she hissed.

The man knew exactly which of her buttons to push to ratchet up her heart rate, and he didn’t have any qualms about giving her what she needed when she needed it.

“Were you thinkin’ about me?”

Ashlynn nodded again, her eyes rolling back as the pleasure intensified. “Don’t stop,” she murmured, riding the sensual high her body craved as he teased her clit.

His lips brushed hers lightly. “What’ll you do if your brother comes in and sees us?”

Ashlynn smiled against his mouth. “I’ll tell him I’m a big girl and I can fuck my head of security if I want to.”

“I love when you say head,” Jase muttered.

“You love more when I give it.”

“No doubt.” Jase’s free hand slid around to cup her ass, squeezing her close as he adjusted their positions so that he could push two fingers inside her. “Is that an offer?”

That was another thing she liked about Jase. He sated her every craving and wasn’t afraid to ask for what he wanted.

She offered another nod.

“Yes, it was an offer? Or yes, you want me to make you come with my fingers, right here?”

“The first, although the second’s not a bad idea, either,” she told him breathlessly, hating that his hand was forced to retreat as she slid her back down the wall, her eyes still locked with his.

While she fumbled with his zipper, Jase pressed his fingers against her lips. “Suck them clean and I’ll give you my dick.”

Never looking away, she took his fingers into her mouth, licking them clean while she freed his cock from his jeans. When he removed them, her tongue instantly lapped at the bead of pre-cum pooling on the wide, swollen head. His hands slid into her hair, gripping her firmly while she proceeded to blow him right there, in the hallway of her brother’s house.

This was probably one of the more private places she and Jase had gotten down to business in. They’d become notorious for acting on their urges spontaneously. It kept it interesting, to say the least.

Ashlynn wasn’t embarrassed to say that her sex drive was high, significantly higher than most women. Previous lovers hadn’t been able to keep up, which was likely the reason she had never settled down long enough to have a real relationship. That and she didn’t believe that sex and love had anything to do with one another. But if she was ever going to give in to love—if it even really existed—then she was damn sure going to be certain the man could sate her every physical need first.

Regrettably, finding that man wasn’t as easy as she would’ve preferred. Not until Jase, anyway. Not that this thing between them could be categorized as a relationship. But it was the longest amount of time she’d been with any one man exclusively. They’d been fucking like rabbits for about a year, and the frequency hadn’t lessened with time. In fact, Ashlynn was inclined to think she wanted him even more now. It was as though he knew her, knew what she liked, what she needed, what she wanted.

It helped that he wanted the same things. Such as Leyton crushed between them. Jase was openly bisexual, although he hadn’t been with a man in all the time they’d been sleeping together. To help alleviate that desperate need that ate at him, they’d started talking about their fantasies while she secretly plotted a way to get Leyton to succumb to his own desires. It was the twenty-first century, after all, and a woman was allowed to ask for what she wanted, to explore her sexuality and admit she had needs. It had been during one of those fantasy discussions that she and Jase had both learned that adding Leyton to the mix would be the cherry topping on a fucking kick-ass sex sundae.

“Aww, yeah,” Jase moaned, tugging her hair as he pressed his hips forward. “You’re so fucking hot like that, Ash. My dick buried in your mouth.”

That was another thing she enjoyed about Jase. He was incredibly vocal. There were times when he could almost get her off with little stimulation and a hell of a lot of that dirty talk.

However, as good as he was, no one was perfect. The one thing about Jase she’d noticed early on … although he was supremely alpha, when it came to sex between them, he had always submitted to her to some degree. Even if he topped from the bottom so to speak, he had always allowed her to maintain the ultimate control. And she knew, deep down, Jase worried she would break if he took that away from her.

Sometimes she feared he might be right about that.

Movement out of the corner of her eye caught Ashlynn’s attention. While she continued to suck Jase deep into her mouth, using her hand to stroke him simultaneously, she flicked her gaze down the hall. There, in all of his sexy glory, was Leyton.

Watching them.

He looked almost bored, but Ashlynn knew better. He was likely trying to figure out whether or not he should join them. She already knew what his final answer would be,but a girl could definitely hope.

excerpt (2)

I sit up when I see a few bikes in the distance. I don’t recognize their patches, but that doesn’t surprise me. Tennessee has a huge MC community, and there are always new clubs popping up all over the state. I slow down as I close the distance between us.

The closer I get, the more details I can make out. The group of about five bikes in front of me are all Harleys, all ranging in colors from almost purple to black. None of the men are wearing helmets, which is the complete opposite of me, who is covered from head to toe in black leather. Even my helmet is all black, with leather piping.

I take the men in, noticing they are all well-built, their leather cuts displaying a large eagle, with its wings spread wide like it’s midflight. The talons of the bird are carrying a long stem rose, with petals falling off it onto their club name, The Broken Eagles. I begin to speed up and pass them one by one, thankful for the security of my helmet, the black visor making it impossible to see me.

I keep my head straight until the last guy, the one who is at the front of the group, catches my attention. From the back, his hair is the first thing I notice. It’s slightly long on top and buzzed on the sides. My eyes move to the expanse of his back, the wide set of his shoulders, and the tan skin covering his lean muscles. His bike is low to the ground, and the bars are in front of him in a way that he has to stretch his arms straight out, causing every muscle to flex and move, making it look like the tattoos are alive and dancing.

My eyes skim farther down over his chest, which is covered in a white tank top tucked into a pair of light jeans, and around his waist is a black belt with a large silver buckle. I continue to pass him, my eyes shifting from the road to him and back again. This time when I look over, his head is turned towards me, and if I didn’t know any better, I would have swear he is looking directly into my soul.

“Holy shit,” I whisper, taking in his hair, the set of his jaw that is covered in days of stubble, and a pair of light eyes I can’t quite make out through the tint of my helmet. He is seriously hot, but equally scary-looking. I look from him back to the road. It must not have been even a second, but when my eyes go to the asphalt in front of me, I see a bird that is trying to make its way across the road, its wing hanging in an awkward position. I swerve to the right just in time to miss the poor animal.

“What the fuck?” I hear roared, and I look over my shoulder at the man who is now coming up quick on my right side. I yell an apology over the sound of my engine and his pipes. Do a quick wave and take off, lowering my body and pulling back the throttle, wanting to get away from them. Dude looks seriously pissed off, and even though I hate leaving the bird behind without helping it, I would like to live to see my next birthday.

I think I’m in the clear, but then the sound of pipes fills my ears, and I don’t even know how it happens, but they all catch up with me, surrounding my bike. I can’t make out what they’re saying, but my stomach starts to roll at the sound of their voices. I feel my side to make sure I have the Taser my dad insisted I carry.

I see a clearing and pull my bike off to the side of the road. I know this is probably one of the stupidest things I have ever done, but if they keep chasing me like they have been, we could all end up seriously hurt. I pull over and don’t even shut down my bike. I just lower my kickstand as my heart, which was already beating hard, begins to bang violently against my ribcage as they surround me.

“What the fuck is wrong with you?” the guy who was at the head of the group asks, stepping in front of my bike.

I shake my head as my words get lodged in my throat.

He pulls me off my bike, and the men who are with him begin yelling obscenities as well.

“Sorry,” I croak out, and I don’t even know if he hears me as his hand goes to the collar of my leather jacket, where he shakes me hard. My hand accidently presses down on the button that ignites the Taser. The loud crack fills the air, and his eyes go wide then he falls to the ground, and I fall on my ass and crabwalk backwards. I look up when I hit something, only to meet the eyes of another man, who looks pissed.

“Get up,” he growls, picking me up. My feet flail under me as I’m lifted off the ground with my hands restrained behind my back.

“Hold him still,” the guy who I had tasered growls in front of me as I try to get away from the anger I feel coming off him. His hands go to my head and he rips my helmet off, causing my hair to float down around me.

Complete silence descends. I swear no one even takes a breath.
