Oh, Katy Regnery. You have such Ana amazing talent of transporting me into Haverford and within the lives of the Blueberry Lane residents. Each book delivers heartwarming and awe inspiring passion and love with each character introduced, and Marry Me Mad is no exception. I can’t tell you how many times is “sighed” from the warmth I felt with Cort and Mad and the glee I felt when they reached their HEA moment.
I have been a HUGE fan of this series since meeting the Brooks brothers and addicted to the air love that has happened their neighbors. Each fulfilling the sweet fantasy of classic love among various characters and quirky and sophisticated ways.
Cort and Mad carry on this tradition in a second chance type love. Things happen for them quickly because the underlying and unspoken feelings they have for one another literally rush to the service when they happen to cross paths during one of Mad’s lowest moments.
Cort is ready to go full steam ahead. This is his chance and he’s taking it without any reservations, but Mad has her moment of clarity that put her loyalties ahead of her dreams and desires. She fight with herself on taking that plunge that will lead to her ultimate happiness and it’s a struggle she’s had her whole life. To put the needs of others ahead of her own is the way of a true lady and Madeleine Rousseau is a true lady. But in Cort’s presence those barriers come down and the wild and wanton woman is set free. This ignites an inferno between the two, where sparks fly and passion is combustible.
Another great romance from Katy Regnery and the inhabitants of Blueberry Lane.
