Note: The Sapphire Heist is the conclusion to Jake and Steph’s story in The Sapphire Affair.

When The Sapphire Affair left off, Steph wasn’t 100% sure in the trust department when it came to Jake. Sure they hit it off pretty quickly and easily but now with so much going on, she’s not sure who she can trust.

But as they both chase the clues in search of their little treasure, they both question everyone around them. They don’t know who the suspect is and there’s a point where their trust in each other is questioned again.

But as I followed Jack and Steph on their adventure, I could help feel like I was in a sexy version of Nancy Drew meets a Hardy Boy. It was thoroughly intriguing and kept me on my toes from the beginning of the first book until the last page of this one. I loved their flirtatious banter and they had sizzling hot chemistry. Through it all, I too, questioned everyone’s motives as I tried to find out the capers of this tale.

This duet was a great read that kept me entertained with every word.

The Sapphire Affair (Jewel #1)

Keep your lover close and your enemy closer…

After giving in to a fiery night of passion, island adventurer Steph Anderson and bounty hunter Jake Harlowe are back to square one. With millions in stolen jewels at stake, it’s hard for Steph not to question her new partner’s true motives—no matter how sexy he might be. Jake is hungry for more of Steph, but he can sense her growing mistrust, which only fuels his own doubts. Worse, there’s undeniable evidence that someone else is now after the jewels—and that they are both in real danger.

Fighting against their magnetic attraction is a distraction these two can’t afford. In order to survive, they’ll have to pull off one more heist—and trust each other with something even more precious than jewels: their hearts.
