Porn Star
by Laurelin Paige and Sierra Simone

about the book

You know me.

Come on, you know you do.

Maybe you pretend you don’t. Maybe you clear your browser history religiously. Maybe you pretend to be aghast whenever someone even mentions the word porn in your presence.

But the truth is that you do know me.

Everybody knows Logan O’Toole, world famous porn star.

Except then Devi Dare pops into my world, and pretty soon I’m doing things that aren’t like me—like texting her with flirty banter and creating an entire web porn series just so I can get to star in her bed. Again. And again.

With Devi, my entire universe shifts, and the more time I spend with her, the more I realize that Logan O’Toole isn’t the guy I thought he was.

So maybe I’m not the guy you thought I was either.

divider line naughty mom review

What a magnificent read! I ❤️ porn. If you’re reading this, it’s most likely that you do too. So going in, I expected some comic relief and super hot sex scenes.  What I didn’t expect was the depth of the characters and of the story that was delivered.  I’m not familiar with Sierra Simone’s work, but I am already a fan of Laurelin Paige, and together they put out a story that was seamlessly written, a great read and with characters I fell in love with from the moment I started the first page.

Logan O’Toole is the hottest of hot and most popular pornstar in the biz. He L❤️VES his job! To him it is his career and that’s it, but it’s a career he thoroughly enjoys. He’s perfectly capable of being clinical and separate when it comes to work and his work is different from his life.

Devi Dare isn’t a porn veteran like Logan but she enjoys her work. Raised by free spirits, she is completely comfortable in her skin and without clothes. She too, can approach her job with the same philosophy as Logan.

After a brief job together, they’ve been on each others’ minds…and fantasies. So when they reconnect, they’re both ecstatic yet nervous. What I loved about this is that though they are pornstars, being around the other has them resorted to feeling like giddy teenagers. It was THE MOST endearing aspect of the characters. They can f*ck on camera without reservation, but were practically tongue-tied when in the same room alone together, wondering what and how the other person was feeling and thinking. This made them so much more human in my eyes and I loved them all the more for it.

With all the expectations I went in with, this book delivered so much more.  We’re reminded that even pornstars are normal people with feelings and want to be loved just as much as we do.  I saw and felt Logan’s  heartbreak. I not only read about the teen-like crush and feelings he developed for Devi and vice versa… I felt it.  To see those two crush on each other was just about the cutest thing ever.  And when it came down to exploring more about their relationship and careers, it was just as apprehensive as they were.

About the Authors

NY Times & USA Today Bestselling author Laurelin Paige is a sucker for a good romance and gets giddy anytime there’s kissing, much to the embarrassment of her three daughters. Her husband doesn’t seem to complain, however. When she isn’t reading or writing sexy stories, she’s probably singing, watching Game of Thrones and the Walking Dead, or dreaming of Michael Fassbender.

Sierra Simone is a USA Today Bestselling former librarian (who spent too much time reading romance novels at the information desk.) She lives with her husband and family in Kansas City.
