The Diary of Bink Cummings: Vol 3 by Bink Cummings
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I just love Bink and Big more and more!! Vol. 3 was much more emotional than the previous books. Could be Bink’s hormones as this particular story was told but good-ness, what a roller coaster. And I loved every second of it. From the moment my heart started palpating when Big did the cruelest thing he could have done before his run to the way he laid out his soul just to prove his love. It was wonderful to see these to go through it all.
Yes, at 14% I was calling Big an asshole. I couldn’t breathe as I read what he was doing but he TOTALLY redeemed himself later and I love him all the more for it. I consider Bink a near saint for being able to get past it. I don’t know that I could have if I were in her shoes. She’s one hell of a strong woman.
The drama from her mother, the secrets that get revealed and the love displayed makes this one helluva read!!! I can’t wait to see it all from Big’s POV in the next book.
Bink’s storytelling is outstanding and so different from all the other books I’ve read. It’s not just narrated in the first person. She’s not just telling a story. It’s all laid out like she and I are having a conversation about the goings on in her life. I’m not just a reader, I sometimes feel like an actual spectator of what’s going on and it makes it so real for me. Hence the palpitations from Big’s asshole moment. I would love for these chronicles to continue. This is one series I could never get tired of.
