book review - purpleFull Contact (Redemption, #3)Full Contact by Sarah Castille My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I'm REALLY loving this series!! Full Contact was filled with much of the "family" vibe that is apparent amongst the characters in Against The Ropes as well as In Your Corner.

Redemption is filled with hot, sexy and very bossy Alpha males and that's what is so great about this series. These alpha males are the scariest MMA fighters out there but still possess the gentleness that draws these women to them.

Full Contact was no exception to this. We first meet Ray (The Predator) in Jake and Amanda's story in the previous book. Ray was a PI filled with mystery and oozing alpha. There was a side to him that just made him an enigma. I couldn't quite figure him out. I could tell he was filled with secrets and getting to know him in his and Sia's story proved just how much mystery surrounded him.

This story takes places a year after In Your Corner and Ray has joined the underground fight ring. This is his outlet and stress reliever and Sia uses every fight as an opportunity to admire him from afar. She's been drawn to him for quite some time and hasn't missed a fight yet. She sees him in a way that no one else does and that only draws his attention to her but also causes her brother Tag aka Fuzzy to disapprove.

However, Sia is a strong person. Confident in what she wants, she's willing to pursue Ray. However, no matter how much his alpha aspects call to her innermost desires, she has a past that causes those flames of desire to fizzle on a few occasions. Ray not only accepts this but helps her find the strength to move past it. He gives supports her in getting back the life she gave up so that she could be whole again.

I loved the fact that Sia's strength didn't let her past change who she truly was as an individual. She may have been using facade of sorts, but I really think that the events of her past actually helped her find her true self. Ray only helped her merge the two.

I not only saw this as a romance with hot an steamy moments of passion but I saw this as a story of strength and survival. This was another amazing story in this series and I can't wait for more. I'm REALLY looking forward to Rampage's story. He is just the sweetest and I'd like to see his alpha side come out a little more. View all my reviews
